Now I can honestly say it’s one of my favourites I hope you have time to look around the other blogs taking part in the hop as our team has some amazing crafters who really think outside of the box, please click the link below to follow the hop

I like the simplicity of this card as I sometimes find mens cards more difficult to make I also love the use of DSP as i’m a massive fan of loveitchopit and have all my paper stored in cases pre cut.

Healing Hugs

I love berry burst and will be gutted when the colour retires its a colour I’ve reached for over and over. I think this beautiful floral image really stands out in the deep pink  and I’m so glad this stamp set is carrying over.

Paper hoarders anonymous

So today I am admitting my problem…I hoard paper, I see gorgeous dsp packs and think I have to have them but then thy sit in my craft room unused (because who cuts something that pretty) Until now. You might have seen my recent posts about #loveitchopit well todays post follows on from that theme.

I chose to use a retired paper picture perfect party (but honestly any paper would do) and some retired card stock I had that matched (peekaboo peach)

I cut the a4 card stock in half (14.9cm) and then scored (at 10.5cm) to make a card base to make the paper pop I added a layer of black card stock (14.4cm x10cm) then a layer of dsp (13.9cm x 9.5cm) I then added a simple sentiment which could be done using a punch (like the triple banner or one of stampin’ up’s! label punches) or by hand. I thought these cards were really effective and super simple.

If you check back in the next few days there will also be  notecard holder which can be made to coordinate and  works perfectly to give as a gift. Hope to see you then.20190518_175049

It’s a beautiful day

Good morning hopefully today is a beautiful day where you are, as currently while i’m writing its a horrible rainy grey day. This card is definitely pretty enough to cheer me up, I overlooked this set completely in last years catalogue but it really jumped out when I saw the samples in the new 2019-20 Stampin up Catalogue. Hopefully you like it as much as I do.20190518_174905
