By the bay

Today’s project uses the gorgeous by the bay saleabration set which is free with a £45 purchase. I really struggle sometimes with male cards and think night of navy is the perfect neutral for this simple design. This could easily be made with just a few supplies or could be jazzed up with some ribbon or an embossing folder on the background. The well said bundle is definitely one of my favourites I was lucky enough to receive the stamp set as a prize patrol at onstage but knew the dies would be worth their weight in gold, there are so many sentiments to choose from.

if you were thinking of the well said bundle it might be worth considering joining my team as for just £99 you could treat yourself to £170 worth of Stampin up goodies. If you need help with a supplies list let me know and I’m sure I could help!

Bloom by bloom team swap

So today’s post is another reason why it’s so great to be part of stampin up, a few times a year our team (the pootlers) do card swaps which are great for gaining inspiration or adding to your shopping list. Since

joining last year I can honestly say I’ve met some lively people at team events and everyone is really friendly so I thought the sentiment on this card was perfect. The colour scheme is my current favourite which seems to be very on trend at the moment. To create the card I used the stamparatus and a template to make a wreath. I hope you like xx

Today’s project is part of the pootlers blog hop where we all be sharing some of the wonderful things you can do with the free saleabration products as let’s face it everyone loves a freebie. For my project I punched out the butterfly from the free botanical butterfly papers and used the Organdy ribbon to give my card an extra pop. I love the grapefruit grove card and paper I think gingham gala is one of my all time favourite collections. Don’t forget to check out the other projects by clicking the blue link below.

Happiness blooms

When I first saw the catalogue this was the first suite that jumped out st me. It reminds me of orla kiely or Ikea and there bold patterns. I thought I would use a few layers to show some of the textures and the prints of the designer series paper off to the best I could. I hope you like it I personally think the lovely lipstick foil sheet looks stunning embossed.

c1166bc8-9e36-499f-83c4-2c3d5539e8a6Today I’m taking part in the Pootles blog hop where lots of our extended team are showcasing ideas from the new spring summer catalogue. I chose to use two sets which I thought went really well together ‘piece of cake’ and ‘amazing life’ piece of cake was the first set on my list when I saw the new catalogue. I love a stamp and punch set as I find they are so versatile, this set also covers so many occasions as cake is not just for birthdays!

Hello cupcake Saleabration

Today I wanted to show you a gorgeous set from the saleabration catalogue called hello cupcake. Can you believe this set can be yours free with a qualifying order.

I wanted to show just how simple it can be to create gorgeous cards using limited supplies or how adding a few little touches can give your card a more fancy style.

The first card is simply stamped in three colours and then layered onto coordinating card stock which is so easy with Stampin’ Up, as everything coordinates which I love.

The second card is up skilled slightly by adding the sentiment to a banner and using coordinating designer series paper to brighten up the white layer of cardstock. I then added a small bow from another saleabration goody, the pack of 5 ribbons.

I

would love to know which you prefer?
