Today’s project is part of the pootlers blog hop where we all be sharing some of the wonderful things you can do with the free saleabration products as let’s face it everyone loves a freebie. For my project I punched out the butterfly from the free botanical butterfly papers and used the Organdy ribbon to give my card an extra pop. I love the grapefruit grove card and paper I think gingham gala is one of my all time favourite collections. Don’t forget to check out the other projects by clicking the blue link below.

Happiness blooms

When I first saw the catalogue this was the first suite that jumped out st me. It reminds me of orla kiely or Ikea and there bold patterns. I thought I would use a few layers to show some of the textures and the prints of the designer series paper off to the best I could. I hope you like it I personally think the lovely lipstick foil sheet looks stunning embossed.

Life’s too short…

c1166bc8-9e36-499f-83c4-2c3d5539e8a6Today I’m taking part in the Pootles blog hop where lots of our extended team are showcasing ideas from the new spring summer catalogue. I chose to use two sets which I thought went really well together ‘piece of cake’ and ‘amazing life’ piece of cake was the first set on my list when I saw the new catalogue. I love a stamp and punch set as I find they are so versatile, this set also covers so many occasions as cake is not just for birthdays!

Hello cupcake Saleabration

Today I wanted to show you a gorgeous set from the saleabration catalogue called hello cupcake. Can you believe this set can be yours free with a qualifying order.

I wanted to show just how simple it can be to create gorgeous cards using limited supplies or how adding a few little touches can give your card a more fancy style.

The first card is simply stamped in three colours and then layered onto coordinating card stock which is so easy with Stampin’ Up, as everything coordinates which I love.

The second card is up skilled slightly by adding the sentiment to a banner and using coordinating designer series paper to brighten up the white layer of cardstock. I then added a small bow from another saleabration goody, the pack of 5 ribbons.

I

would love to know which you prefer?

New catalogue sneak peek

I was lucky enough to receive this stamp when I went to onstage but have been so busy with Christmas cards that I hadn’t played with it. I absolutely love the images and sentiments in this set definitely one I will use over and over. This card was made with only 4 supplies so I perfect for beginners. Supplies are listed below and link to my shop if there’s anything you would like. The new catalogue launches tomorrow so I will try and show some more projects over the next few days, please let me know what you think! There are also some fantastic joining offers if you would like to join my team, I love the tote bag and use it to carry my class supplies it’s very much a Mary poppins bag!

Berry Burst Healing Hugs

I’ve gone for a really simple project today which can be made for lots of different occasions just by changing the sentiment. I love this stamp set and think the floral image really stands out in darker colours. the background to the card is simply the image stamped using coordinating card stock and ink which creates an almost watermarked effect. Hopefully you love this as much as I do. Are there any other colour combos you would like to see?
